Επιστημολογία & Υμνολογία Μεγάλου Βασιλείου

Σε αυτόν τον εκκλησιαστικό ύμνο που ψάλλεται στα Απόστιχα του Εσπερινού του Μεγάλου Βασιλείου υπάρχει επιστημολογικό βάθος στους 4  πρώτους στίχους.

Τῶν ὄντων ἐκμελετήσας τὴν φύσιν,

καὶ πάντων περισκοπήσας τὸ ἄστατον,

μόνον εὗρες ἀκίνητον,

τὸν ὑπερουσίως ὄντα Δημιουργὸν τοῦ παντός,

ᾧ καὶ μᾶλλον προσθέμενος,

τῶν οὐκ ὄντων τὸν πόθον ἀπέρριψας.

Πρέσβευε καὶ ἡμᾶς τοῦ θείου πόθου τυχεῖν, Ἱεροφάντα Βασίλειε.

Κάποιος μπορεί να δει την επιστημολογία του Kuhn, του Popper.

Όπως μπορεί να δει και ότι η Εκκλησιαστική Θεολογία δεν αποτελεί «επιστήμη» με όρους επιστημολογικούς στέκεται πάνω και περα. Και όπως το διατυπώνει ο ποιητής  «μόνον εὗρες ἀκίνητον, τὸν ὑπερουσίως ὄντα Δημιουργὸν τοῦ παντός» .
